Woody Speaks

Written by race on December 4th, 2009

Scott Woodward was in a live chat via the Seattle Times today and actual nuggets were few and far between as the student of James Carville spent over an hour saying nothing. The chat about nothing, what a brilliant idea!

Numerous attempts were made to get Scotty to comment in depth on why he thinks Sark is so great. Nothing.

Attempts were made to get him on the record for this year’s performance and nary a critical word was uttered.

We do have this to save for posterity and to use next year:

Scott Woodward: As always, I judge our teams to make sure we are making marked progress. Hopefully we will be in a bowl next year. I think Coach Sarkisian and I would be disappointed if that were not the case. But it’s not a pre-requisite for calling next year a success. Friday December 4, 2009 12:35 Scott Woodward

Too bad that Pool Boy has to ruin that quote with a Todd Turneresque mealy mouthed progress bullshit remark along with the now obligitory “winning doesn’t matter” capper. In other words – Exhibition Season #8 on tap for next year.

Woody spun some bull shit about the stadium remodel, ignored numerous attempts to ask why the date keeps moving back and showed his true colors with this line of shit:

Scott Woodward: I’m always open to discuss opportunities that will benefit our athletic department. The Qwest concept is one where I have to weigh our fans/season ticket holders’ interest vs. financial interests. And on top of that, do our fans want an Apple Cup in the Puget Sound region every year.

Like in the Husky Stadium region of the Puget Sound region you fucking loser.

Speaking of losers, the grad rate bait was leaped at by the scarf wearing fraud:

[Comment From AllPurpleAllGold : ]With the recent emphasis on student performance in the class room by our student athletes, is there any disapointment in only having one first team all academic football player? Friday December 4, 2009 12:39

12:39 Scott Woodward: You always want more Academic All-Americans, but I am very proud of our academic record at UW athletics. We are second only to Stanford in graduation rates and we are second to all public institutions in the West, as well. Friday December 4, 2009

What kind of a queer even asks a question like that?

So there you go sports fans, more losing to come and more grad rate chatter because winning doesn’t matter.

Go Doogs!

[Comment From slyder slyder: ]
Scott, did you become physically ill Thursday night as I did after seeing the event broadcast from Eugene? Friday December 4, 2009 12:53 slyder

12:53 Scott Woodward: LOL. Friday December 4, 2009 12:53 Scott Woodward
